Client Introduction
Word Association are a PR and communications consultancy based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, with a history of working with organisations that have a direct impact on people.

Brief
Word Associations previous website had been running for several years with its basic design. They contacted us with a plan to redevelop the website based on artwork they provided. The website needed to include the following features:

• Content Management System to allow staff members to make changes to the website through a password controlled area.
• Follow the layout provided by Word Association’s in house designers exactly, including page colours changing depending on the page viewed.
• Interactive Organisation Chart depicting the staff members.
• 3 Online contact forms. One for generic contact, one survey and one quiz.

Project Overview
After a thorough consultation process a project specification based on the DotNetNuke platform was drawn up.
DotNetNuke provides the tools and development framework needed to successfully design, develop, and deploy a reliable content managed website.
Based on ASP.NET, DotNetNuke includes a powerful and feature rich administrative tools allowing you to add and edit page, manage images and other files on the website, apply consistent skins (look and feel) throughout the website. On top of this powerful platform, Infosystems developed custom plugins to provide the extra functionality that was required.
The sites artwork was provided to Infosystems by Word Association as a photoshop psd file. We adapted this for website use to show the consistent look and feel across the whole website.
